FAQs

Q: Why are you called ‘Somewhere up north’ when you are based down south?

‘Somewhere up north’ describes a creative process rather than a literal location. Every project is a creative journey, it starts out in a certain direction, but rarely has an exact destination in mind. Gradually ‘somewhere up north’ becomes a region, then a county, a town, then a suburb, a street and eventually an actual address. In other words - the creative idea. If we were based up north physically, we’d probably be called ‘Somewhere down south’.

That’s about the only question we get asked with any actual frequency. But if you have another, do get in touch.
